These Terms and Conditions form the basis of the agreement between the client and Tuk Tuk CeylonRide. By renting a vehicle from us, the client agrees to the following terms:
1. Client and Authorized Driver Responsibilities

Only the client or an authorized driver is permitted to operate the vehicle.

The driver must hold a valid, non-learner’s driving license valid in Sri Lanka.

The client is fully responsible for all actions and omissions by themselves or any authorized drivers.

Driving on sandy roads, muddy roads, water holes, or streams is strictly prohibited.
2. Vehicle Maintenance, Damage, and Safety

The vehicle must not be used for any illegal or immoral activity. The client agrees to indemnify the company against any legal consequences arising from such actions.

The client must take clear photographs of the vehicle at the time of pickup to document its condition and send them via WhatsApp to the company.

In case of an accident, the client must immediately inform both the insurance provider and the company from the accident location.

The duration required for vehicle repair will depend on the nature of the damage.
3. Vehicle Usage Guidelines

The maximum speed should not exceed 40–50 km/h during rental use.

The vehicle must be taken for servicing every 5000 km, using the service book at a service center approved by the company.
4. Daily Tyre Inspection

Before starting the journey each morning, the client must check the wheel nuts and bolts. If any are loose, they must be tightened using the provided toolset.
5. Returning the Vehicle

The client must return the vehicle at the agreed location, date, and time.

Company operating hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays, excluding public holidays.

A company representative can be contacted 24/7 via the hotline.

Pickup or return locations should be within 5 km of the specified main city area.
6. Fuel Policy

The vehicle will be handed over with a full fuel tank. The client must verify this before leaving and inform the main office via WhatsApp if it is not full.

If the vehicle is not returned with the same amount of fuel, the client is liable to pay for the missing fuel.
7. Insurance and Damage Claims

If the insurance company refuses to cover damages due to violations such as drunk driving or negligence, the client agrees to pay the full cost of the damages.

The client must cooperate fully with both the company and the insurance provider in case of an accident or damage.

The client must follow all company guidelines in the event of mechanical issues, accidents, or damage.
8. Payments

Clients are responsible for making timely payments.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank deposits, or cash (LKR).
